LOVE OTHERS
We believe we are called to love people like us and people not like us.
Love those like you is our phrase for community and fellowship that is found in this church, in your community and your workplace or school. It’s where relationships are most easy because of the natural affinities and ties that we have with others. We are called to be hospitable and to do good to those closest to us.
LOVE THOSE LIKE YOU
LOVE THOSE NOT LIKE YOU
Love those not like you is our phrase for forgiveness and reconciliation that is found in this church, in your community and your workplace or school. It’s where relationships are most more difficult because of the differences that we have with others. We are still called to be loving and to do good to those farthest from us, even our enemies.
THOUGHTS ON LOVING OTHERS
Get to know your neighbour or coworker | Inviting them over for a meal, go on an outing with them, or finding out what interests them and get them to teach you something could be a great way to start building relationships with them.
Leave people better than you found them | The attitude that when I encounter someone, regardless of what’s going on my life or theirs, I can see it as a ministering opportunity to encourage, strengthen, and bless. I can do this because I’ve received something from Christ.
Stay connected to your friends who aren’t following Christ | We are ambassadors of Christ and sometimes new believers leave their old life behind them which can include their friends. The world needs to see what living a life of faith looks like and they look to you to see if it’s even possible.
